Carter loves his Gigi, Poppi, Mimi, and Papa. There is no doubting that. It may or may not be because they spoil him rotten and give him whatever his little heart desires. But, as they say, "that's what Grandparents are for"...yeah yeah yeah!

MIA
I was on a real blogging roll there for a while...and then apparently life got in the way. I'm going to try my best to get back on the saddle.
Carter is learning and growing and is more fun that ever before. He is a pretty cool kid, if I do say so myself.
Keep checking back...I promise I will try to get June/July happenings blogged!!

Morning at the Park!
A couple weeks ago Carter's cousins Brenna and Baylie came up from Florida to visit!! Carter LOVES those girls, and has continually asked for "Benna" and "Bay-yie" since they left.
One morning, we all went to the park to play - we didn't stay too long though, as it was about 90 degrees outside - even at 9:00 in the morning!
Here's a little video. LOVE his cute little squeal! LOVE this boy!

Bad Boy, Bad Boy...Whatcha Gonna Do?
The other night I was taking some pictures of Carter playing with his Daddy.
Of course that led to a spanking for the little boy.
But he told Daddy he was "sowy", and they were soon smiling again!

Lazy Bones
Carter's morning routine consists of the following:
1. Waking up
2. Getting a diaper change
3. Pointing out all the animals in his room (yi-yon, beeza, eh-phant, bunkie, raffe)
4. Asking if he's going to Gigi or Mimi's house
5. Drinking his milk and watching Nick Jr.
He will just lounge on the couch or chair and wait to fully wake up. It's so funny. I appreciate it because I get to get some stuff done before he starts demanding my attention.
The last two pictures are not in the morning...just some afternoon laziness. I promise he doesn't sleep in a polo :)

Go Braves!
Here's a short video of Carter bonding with his Daddy over baseball (and teeth brushing) before bed one night.

It's Potty Time!
About a month or so ago Carter started to tell me when he had gone to the bathroom. I figured that it was a good time for me to buy a potty seat and just see what he would do with it.
He pretty much poops on schedule - about 10 minutes after his morning milk, after breakfast, and then once again in the afternoon, so I thought that might help in my efforts to get him to do it on the potty.
He will sit there for about 30 seconds and say "all done!" ha! I'll probably give him a couple weeks and then try again.
I can't wait until we are diaper free!!!
