We went to our child birthing class on Saturday and I must say that it was a lot better than I expected it to be. Corbin was NOT looking forward to sitting in a classroom for 7 hours, but even he admitted to enjoying it and learning a lot. He was actually the FIRST person to ask a question and didn't squirm too much during the three videos we watched (let's just say they didn't leave anything to the imagination). He says that he is all ready for Carter to come now, and even read up on delivering the baby himself if we didn't make it to the hospital in time - haha!
The tour of the hospital was good - got a feel for where I will be spending a few days in a month or so. I am hoping the day I go in won't be too busy so I can get one of the newer/bigger rooms. We were also told to go ahead and pack our bags, but I think I will hold off for a few more weeks.
By the end of the day, Corbin admitted that he didn't realize how long/bad of a process it was all going to be for me and then reminded me that I can blame Eve for all of that! I know he is going to be a great coach, though and will take good care of me!
Only about 7 weeks left!
