Fun in Florida: Part 1

Corbin's cousin got married in July in Florida. Since his brother lives about 45 mins from where the wedding was, we decided to stay with them and spend some of our vacation down there!

I was beyond dreading the 8+ hour drive with a toddler, so when we found CHEAP plane tickets I was pumped. It didn't take long for me to start to worry about being trapped on a plane with a toddler...thankfully, Carter did great!

There was a slight delay, but that didn't seem to bother Carter too much. He kept pointing out all of the "air-panes".

Once we got on the plane, Carter was immediately entertained by the window. He must have opened and shut the shade for 10 minutes.

Luckily I was prepared with a bag of tricks (toys and snacks) so that boredom would not be an issue.
Because we were flying during Carter's nap time, as soon as signs of exhaustion showed, we broke out the big guns: Elmo and Teddy! Carter rested on my lap with his teddy bear and watched Elmo the last 20 minutes of the flight. Of course he didn't fall asleep, but at least he was quiet!
I was so proud of little man and we even got compliments on how well behave he was!
