Isle of Palms: Part 1

I'm not generally a spontaneous person, but a few weeks before labor day, I spoke with my friends Ashley and Lisa and we decided last minute to make a trip down to the beach for the long weekend. We rented a condo for three nights in Isle of Palms and had a great time! Graham was clearly pumped to be at the beach...

We let the boys play a little rough.
And used Wonder Pets to baby sit them while we tried to enjoy a nice supper without child interruption (don't worry, the boys had already been fed)
Each of us took turns cooking so we didn't have to spend money on eating out. Yummy lasagna!

We decided to visit the beach at sunset one night. It was beautiful!

The condo was in the perfect location - right across from the pool. We spent most of our time here, and most of the time we were the ONLY ones at the pool. It was fabulous.

I was SO excited when I saw there was a kiddie pool! Though Carter and Graham had several near-drowning incidents (they were a bit too brave), they ended up moving around the pool like a pro.

We did finally end up going to the beach on our last day there (the pool is a lot easier and less messy with toddlers!). That will be in the next post!
