Back to Work!

I went back to work several weeks ago and we are all adjusting fairly well. To prepare, we had to make sure Levi would take a bottle. Since I breastfeed, it is always a gamble on whether or not the baby will transition well to a bottle. We were lucky with Carter and he took to it right away. Of course, Levi had to give us some drama!

The week before I went back, I had Corbin give Levi a bottle of milk. You can tell by the look on his face, he is like "What in the WORLD is this thing, Dad!?". He did everything BUT suck on the darn thing. Luckily, I changed bottles and he did a little better, but it took him an hour and a half to drink 4 ounces. Ridiculous!

I was beggining to think I wouldn't be able to go back to work (not the worst thing ever! ha!), but when we tried again a few days later he did just fine. Guess he just realized that if he was hungry he was going to have to drink out of that contraption!

I sure am missing my sweet munchkin while I'm at work! Of course, I miss Carter too, but I'm used to being without him and Levi and I got rather attached during my 6 weeks off!
I mean, how can you resist that chubby face?!
