The cutest baby boy on the planet!

This morning's appointment went well. The ultrasound tech got to see all the rest of Carter's parts that she didn't last month and said that everything looked perfect! His heart rate was a strong 144 bpm and he weighs 1 lb 3 oz - just a little squirt right now. I can't believe that he gained 10 ounces in four weeks!

I was a bad mommy and drank my first caffeinated beverage (not counting Starbucks) in YEARS before the appointment in hopes to get him moving. Well, it worked! He was wiggling around and contorting into all sorts of positions. He also had a super full bladder - I guess I passed down my bad habit of holding it until the last minute onto him.

Here are the fabulous 3D/4D pictures that they were able to get! Notice the position of his leg in the first one - quite the flexible little boy:

Isn't he the cutest?!?! I am SO glad that we were able to do this! (If you click on the picture it should get bigger)

As far as I am concerned, everything is going well! I have gained a total of 11 pounds, which I am happy with. Blood pressure is good and I measure a perfect 24 weeks. I will take my sugar test at the next appointment (yuck!) and make sure that I have no issues there.

I am hoping that Carter isn't as accident prone as his daddy who got hurt at his softball game last night and was in the ER until 1:00 a.m. getting stitches in his finger (different finger and hand than the last accident) Hopefully the ER doctors won't know him by name by the time Carter makes his arrival!
