We managed to get a decent amount of stuff done this weekend, although it didn't exactly work out the way we had planned. Corbin started painting on Saturday morning to find out that the paint we picked out was not exactly top quality. It didn't go on very smooth and caused him to have to put TONS of coats on the walls. Needless to say, he only got half of the room painted and is not happy with his job. He is a lot more critical than I am! Here is a picture of Corbin hard at work:

You can't really tell, but it is a light tan color (a lot lighter than we wanted - the paint didn't match the color card either - ugh!). He also go started on the blue walls which you can see here:

The room was originally light green, but you can see the light blue paint along the top of the walls and around the closet door! Cute!
While Corbin was painting, I was being a little crafty myself, making these for the baby's room:

Yes, I realize I'm missing the letter T, but Hobby Lobby was out, so I'll have to go back this weekend. I am hoping to find a cute shelf to stand these on to put above Carter's crib.
Tomorrow is our appointment and we are excited to see our baby boy again!
