He's also started lunging forward as if he wants to crawl. I had a little talk with him this morning that I am NOT ready for him to start crawling. Not yet! We'll see if he listens.
I am also happy to report that Carter is doing SO WELL with his food. Tonight he ate his sweet potatoes and actually enjoyed them. He LOVES carrots and likes his green beans pretty well too. Next up is peas and squash. I'm also planning on buying some fresh peaches at the farmer's market!
You can tell by the picture that feeding him is the biggest mess. He always gets a death grip on the spoon and will not let go. He insists on putting the spoon in his mouth himself! At least he is over the spitting phase (knock on wood) - I was afraid that we both would have to wear bibs at eating time.
Here is a little video of Carter-man sucking the heck out of a banana. (Disclaimer - his eyes are red because he was soooo sleepy. I put him to bed at 7:30 tonight)
Before church on Sunday, Corbin and Carter decided to have a little father-son dancing time. Apparently this week's theme was the 80s! My poor child - he's going to have to endure a bit of torture with us as parents!
