I was thinking the other day how crazy it is to know that Carter has now lived in 3 different years. He just doesn't seem old enough!
I know it's been a month since I posted, but I have a good reason...ladies and gentlemen, I have a toddler!! It pains me to say it, but Carter is faster than a speeding bullet and gets into EVERYTHING. I remember the days when I could put him in the bouncer next to me while I blogged. Not anymore, folks!!
If you want a recap of all of the December festivities, read the posts below.
So, what have we been up to? Well...Carter was just diagnosed with his first double ear infection. He had been sick off an on since before Christmas and just couldn't shake it, so I took him in. He is in a remarkably good mood for being so sick! He is such a good baby.
By Christmastime, Carter was walking like a pro. Here is a video of his skills from Christmas Eve. As you can imagine, it being a month later, he is FAST now. I love to watch him kick up his little legs and try to run from you.
He is also quite the little parrot. He will repeat (or at least try to) anything you say. Right now he consistently says ball, car, truck & duck (these kinda sound the same), bye-bye, night-night, please (his please starts with a d - "deeeese"), and thank you (sooooo cute!). Of course he is still a fan of Dada, Mama and Bubba! I did take a video of him talking the other day, I will try to post that this weekend!
He also WATCHES everything you do. This video is a month or so old too, but one day he grabbed my cell phone and put it up to his ear like he knew exactly what to do with it! Well, he doesn't exactly put it up to his ear...more like the back of his neck. So cute!
His favorite place to hang out these days is in our bathroom. He makes a game of throwing anything he can find in the bathtub. This morning for example I found in there his shampoo, soap, some q-tips, a sock (mine), and a card with my passport information. He also has a ball opening and closing the drawers and door. Thankfully he hasn't shown any interest in the toilet...yet.
He is such a big boy now! I am at the point when I look at his baby pictures and videos and get soooo sad because he is not a baby anymore. Of course he is still small, but that is okay by me!! I don't think I could love him any more, but I know come tomorrow morning I will!
I don't know who reads this blog (if anyone), so I've contemplated not posting anymore. But I'm going to try my best to keep everyone (or no one) up to date on our little boy! I know that when he is older I will be glad that I did.

Z does a lot of the same things... I love having thing thrown at me while I am in the shower :-p
Don't stop updating Carter's blog. It keeps me informed of how much he is growing since I am not in town. I really love reading it! You have at least 2 viewers! :)
