Carter didn't get his first tooth until February, so I really hadn't thought about starting to brush his teeth until much later than other parents. Last month, when he had a few more teeth (he has 5 now and one on the way!), I stopped by the store to get him a cute toothbrush (Elmo, of course) and some toothpaste.
I wasn't so sure how he would take to me trying to brush his teeth, but he actually didn't mind it!
I definitely think that the yummy flavor toothpaste had something to do with it! He just kept watching in the mirror, while me and Corbin cheered him on!
Of course Mommy had to have a turn next! I am happy to say that Carter now LOVES to brush his teeth and asks to do it whenever he sees us doing it! Let's hope his first dentist appointment is as exciting for him! Ha!
