Brotherly Love

So many people have asked me how Carter is doing with Levi. I feel funny saying that he is doing great because I feel like I am expected to say the opposite, but the truth is, Carter LOVES him some Levi. He kisses on him at least 20 times a day and when we tell Carter to tell Levi goodnight, he goes up to him and has to kiss him, hug him, and says "I love you Levi" without even being prompted. Melt my heart!
Levi has this little play gym that he likes to lay under. And of course if Levi is down there, so is Carter. I snapped these pictures the other day because I could not resist the cuteness!
Keep in mind I did not stage any of this!


Did you catch this? Carter's hand did not leave his brother's the whole time he was laying there!
This has become one of my favorite pictures because it is so candid and SO sweet!
And here is a little example of how Carter "shares" with Levi. AKA shoving a stuffed animal in his face. He meant well....I think.
"Look Mommy, I'm sharing with Levi!"

Of course it isn't all hand holding and kissing in our house. Carter is 2 and is a boy. He's still getting the hang of being gentle with his little brother - something we have to remind him of on a daily basis. Carter is constantly in Levi's face. Constantly. I feel bad for the little guy sometimes. He never gets a break!

I have no doubt that one day Levi is going to smack the tar out of Carter - and though I will discipline him for it, I think he owes him a shove or two!
