I am now well into my 7th month of pregnancy and still cannot believe that Carter will be here very soon! I am feeling better than I thought I would at this point. I get winded easily and feel rather lazy, but I guess since I'm carrying around an extra 15 pounds on my front side, it is to be expected. Carter is moving around still, but I'm sure he'll be running out of room soon and slowing down.
Before I get to the picture of my large self, we have exciting news...our furniture is put together!! I was hoping we would do it last night since the rest of our week/weekend is booked up. So, we turned on the presidential debate (to serve as a reminder that there was nothing to watch on TV) and went to work while sporadically yelling at the candidates. We are super civilized, clearly.

(That's not where his name is going, but again...I couldn't resist) The dresser is strategically placed to cover up a spot on the carpet where my husband, who was being awesome and cleaning the carpet, accidentally grabbed the CLOROX bottle instead of the carpet cleaner. So yeah, our carpet has a little bleach spot, but it's clean!A special thanks to my mom and dad (otherwise known as Grandma and Grandpa) for buying us Carter's crib! I know that he will love it for the many many years he will use it!!
Okay - now on to the not so exciting, and not nearly as cute 28 week belly picture. I blame all weight gain these past 2 weeks on my mother-in-law who has been bringing "Carter" a new baked good each week (seriously - banana bread, cookies, cupcakes). My taste buds thank you...my thighs do not!
My 28 week appointment is Friday - so I assume I'll be back then with my doctor's opinion on how things are going!
