Shower Time!!

My very first baby shower was yesterday (Sunday) and it was absolutely fabulous! My aunts went above and beyond to make this a super cute and super fun occasion and I cannot thank them enough! I/Carter got TONS of stuff off our registry, which makes me feel so much more prepared for him to come. I wish I had time to take a picture of every single gift! Probably my favorite thing that I got at the shower were books for Carter! Everyone got him their favorite childhood book or just a book they thought he would like and wrote him a little note inside. I know these are books that he is going to have forever. Of course, being the English major nerd that I am, he is going to have A LOT of books and hopefully will love reading as much as I do! Carter's Mimi (Corbin's mom) also passed down some of Corbin's favorite books as a child!

Thank you to EVERYONE who was able to make it on Sunday! You will never know how much Corbin and I appreciate your love and kindness during this time. I cannot wait for you all to meet him!
