2 months old & a bad bad day!

Carter turned 2 months old yesterday! To celebrate, I dressed him up cute and took pictures!

Isn't that picture of my boys just PRECIOUS?!? I have to be the most blessed girl on the planet! I love them both to death!

Here's a closeup of little man's cute outfit:

I love the look on his face: "Um...dad...what in the world are you doing to try to make me smile?"

Today was a not-so-fun day. We went in this morning for Carter's two month checkup - Doctor said he is doing great! Here are his stats:

Weight: 8 lbs 11 ounces - 2.44 percentile
Length: 21.5 inches - 6.33 percentile
Head Circumference: 14.75 inches - 6.83 percentile

Just a little munchkin! The doctor said they really don't pay much attention to percentiles at this age, and the fact that he is gaining weight and growing nicely is what matters.

We had to go back to the doctors this afternoon because they were out of the vaccines and had to get them from another office. Carter was such a trooper! He had one oral immunization (which he threw up, so we had to give it to him again) and 3 shots. He let out one glass-shattering, heart-breaking squeal when the nurse gave him his first shot, but only cried for about 30 seconds or so after they were done! It was all I could do not to cry with him - I really wanted to, but figured it would embarrass Corbin - ha! I am so proud of him, though!

Check out his battle wounds:

There is really only one word to describe how he has been tonight: PITIFUL! He has been pouting and fussing at the littlest things. I have not been able to put him down at all - the only reason I am able to update the blog is because his daddy has him now as he FINALLY let himself fall asleep. He had buried his face into my armpit and was just whimpering...it was so sad!

Hopefully after a little Tylenol and cuddling he will sleep good tonight and wake up in a little better mood. Poor little buddy.
