8 weeks old!!!

Carter Ross is 8 weeks old today! He is becoming more and more fun every day and I get so excited when he does something new! He is starting to tolerate things a lot more than he used to - i.e. his carseat. He used to scream bloody murder every time we put him in it, but now he actually seems to enjoy it some of the time. He is smiling at a lot more things, which just melts my heart! I act like a fool just to get that little boy to show me his dimples.

Here are some cute pictures I took the other day. Carter loves to be naked, so we had a little nudie photo shoot on his changing pad (seriously his favorite place to lay!). I don't know if I mentioned that we found a birth mark on him! It is a little brown oval on his thigh. I tried and tried to get a picture of it, but he was just wiggling to much - maybe another time!

Another fun thing Carter has discovered is a toy in his crib. He loves to just lay there and listen to the music. The funny thing is that as soon as the music stops, he starts to fuss and then will quiet down as soon as I turn it back on. I am praying that he will have his daddy's musical talent!!



On another note, I'm afraid that my baby boy might be a blondie. His hair does seem to be getting lighter...it is still definitely dark, but not as dark as it used to be, so he may be taking after his mommy. I'll keep you posted on that!

I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day! Corbin and I were able to go out on a date for the first time in over 8 weeks and we had a good time. Thanks Papa and Mimi for watching our baby boy!!
