Rice Cereal!

Carter tried rice cereal for the first time last night...I think he enjoyed it. Of course, the independent little one that he is, he wanted to feed it to himself. And yes, his bib does say "tax deduction" :)



He has been doing so good with sleeping lately! Corbin just now put him down for a nap - he talked to himself for 10 mins, fussed 10 mins, and now is sleeping soundly! Although it was SO HARD to hear him cry the first week or so, he is doing better and I can definitely tell a change in his mood since he is getting more sleep. I bought this GREAT book that gives super advice on how to teach you baby healthy sleep habits so that they are happier babies! Being the information junkie that I am, I read it all in a day and implemented it as fast as I could. And since Carter went from a baby that needed to be swaddled to sleep and slept best in someone's arms to a baby that can be put down sans swaddle with only a few minutes of soothing makes me a believer!

Have I mentioned how much I love this little boy?!? Hope everyone had a great weekend! We have a SUPER busy week coming up, so hopefully we will all survive!
