Longest week ever!

Well, we made it through a crazy hectic week (barely!) It was revival time at church, so we were there practically every night, getting home around 9:00, getting the baby to bed, and then eating dinner around 9:45. Since Carter was getting to bed WAY past his bedtime, he started waking up numerous times throughout the night which made for little sleep for mommy!

Thanks so much to my mom and dad who provided dinner for us on Thursday so we could just relax at home after work for the first time all week!

Carter is growing like a weed and learning new things every day. He has found a new toy - his feet! He is always grabbing them and trying to suck on them.

He is also a genius and has learned what his feet are called...check out this video!

He is still getting used to the rice cereal. I wouldn't go so far to say that he likes it, but he tolerates it well enough. Sometimes he will eat a whole bowl full (i.e. 1 tablespoon), while other times he wants nothing to do with it! I now understand why people register for so many bibs - messy messy!

This is the look he gives me when I first put the cereal in his mouth...not too sure about that!

And then half way through the meal he sees his feet and realizes that those are WAY more tasty...Carter is FINALLY starting to master tummy time (most can do this by 3 months old...ha, he's a little behind). I put him on his tummy the other day and he actually lifted up his head! We have been practicing like crazy. This is the only picture I have been able to catch of the feat:

Gosh, isn't he the cutest? This boy loves his daddy...

Hopefully all these pictures made up for my lack of posting this past week! We are enjoying our little man more and more every day and can't wait to see what new thing he does next!
