I'm SURE inquiring minds want to know how the big move went. The first night was definitely harder on Corbin and me than Carter! I stared at the baby monitor for at least a good 30 minutes before going to bed - and Corbin kept telling me that Carter "wanted to sleep in our room". I am happy to report that Carter seems to be doing quite well in his crib! The first few nights he woke up a bit more than normal and seemed to be restless, but each night seems to be a little better. In fact, he only woke up ONCE last night! I'm not expecting the same tonight, but I did enjoy getting some nice solid hours of sleep.
Sorry I don't have any pictures for you - I am posting this from work. (Employee of the year, I know) I am hoping to take a video sometime soon of Carter's newest trick - he can hold his head up by himself! He is of course still a little wobbly, but he just looks like such a big boy. I also don't know if I ever mentioned this, but he has definitely found his hands. He will just hold them up in the air and stare at them - it's so cute. His newest way of telling us that he is hungry is by sucking on his fist. That's actually how he woke me up at 2:00 this morning - I could hear him sucking!
