Snowy Sunday!

Well we are currently under a "Winter Weather Warning", so as we wait for the blizzard of '09 as Corbin is calling it, I am going to update the blog!

The weekend was full of birthday festivities for my dad who turned 50 today!! My sister, Carter's Aunt Kristen came into town and got to see Carter since the first time since he was born. She babysat Carter on Saturday afternoon while Corbin and I ran some errands and even cleaned our kitchen! Definitely will let her babysit whenever she wants!

Here is a little video that Carter made my dad for his birthday! Happy Birthday Grandpa!

The week was kind of a crazy one for us. Carter caught a little bit of a cold and had a slight fever on Wednesday night, so between the shots on Monday and the cold, he was a fussy baby. He seemed to fully recover by Friday, which I was very grateful for because he didn't sleep so well when he wasn't feeling good. I went to Target on Thursday and bought some sick baby supplies. Can you guess what this is?

Only the cutest humidifier ever!! The steam comes out of the elephant's trunk! Hopefully this will help Carter to breathe a little easier at night. Between his reflux and a stuffy nose, he really has a hard time.

We are enjoying a lazy Sunday evening at home since church was canceled. I even got in a little nap! Carter was having a grand ole time in his bouncer, so I took another little video. It is so fun to watch him enjoy his toys and learn! Sorry it's sideways!!

Tonight the plan is to put Carter in his big boy crib for the first time at night. I am kinda nervous about having him so far from me (15 feet is a big change from 3 inches), but I know that he can't be in the bassinet forever. I'll keep you posted on how that goes (IF I have the courage to do it tonight).
