Redecorating and Rolling

If you can't tell, I've been doing a little maintenance on the blog. I've found a few neat websites and downloaded some new fonts. I like to keep you on your toes a bit! If only I could get paid for doing this sort of thing! It's still a work in progress, but hopefully I'll get it lookin the way I want it to before too long.

Carter is doing great. He is definitely teething. He chews on everything, drools like a maniac, and has to have Tylenol in order to get any uninterrupted sleep. Hopefully that little tooth will make itself known soon!

I know I mentioned earlier that Carter was rolling from his belly to his back. Well, now he is rolling from his back to his belly! This is apparently harder to do because it involves more muscles. The other day when he was in his crib trying to nap he started screaming bloody murder out of nowhere and when I went to check on him I found him on his belly, looking up at me with a "help me!" look on his face! Poor buddy. Then, this morning when I went to get him up for the day, he was on his belly again! He didn't seem to mind it this time. He's done it a few times while playing, but you can definitely tell it is a lot of work. I will try to get it on video!

On the eating front, Carter is loving his rice cereal. He will open his mouth after each bite to let me know that he is ready for another! I am excited to start real food with him in about 3 weeks!

We are gearing up this week for another road trip and Carter's first vacation! We will be going to Florida for a week and we are very excited. I am not looking forward to the packing or the driving part to the trip, but I am ready for the relaxing and eating part!

Here is this week in pictures...

I think he knows where his food comes from, don't you? Ha!

Watchin some TV!

Mama and baby all dressed up and ready for church!

I don't know if I've ever mentioned this on here, but ever since Carter was a tiny thing, he would always cross his little feet. I think it is the cutest thing ever. Whether he is sitting on his own or in his car set, he is sitting proper!

Hopefully I will get to blog before we leave for Florida. I'm sure something exciting will happen between now and then...or at least something cute. That's pretty easy when you live with the cutest baby ever.
