Too Short Weekend - Too Long Post!

We made it home safely from Chattanooga last night after a busy and fun weekend! Carter ended up being a great traveler. He hardly fussed at all during the trip down there or back home, and when he did get restless, he was easily distracted by toys (or me singing...he thinks that's funny). He had a bit of trouble adjusting to being in a new place, but overall I have to say that he did fabulous! He didn't sleep as well as he usually does, but he was still in a good mood the majority of the time! Here is a little sample of what I got to listen to the way home from Tennessee.

Carter has taken a liking to making loud high pitch squeals. At first it was cute...now it's a bit annoying! Ha! And since Corbin was driving I had the pleasure of listening to random talk radio shows.

Anyway - back to the trip. We had a blast playing with Carter's cousins Baylie and Brenna and hanging out with the rest of the Crittenden Clan. It was fun to have the 4 generations together. Here are some pictures from our weekend, because I know that's really what you came here for...

Carter is all smiles a few hours into his first long car ride!

Look what we passed! We also passed a "Rossville" but I couldn't get my camera out quick enough!

Carter and his great grandparents all the way from Florida!

Four generations!

No Sunday is complete without a photoshoot after church...

I am so glad that Carter has cousins close to his age to play with! Now we just have to get them to move to SC so we can see them more often! It was so cute to watch the little ones "interact" - which basically consisted of Carter kicking Brenna and Brenna staring back at him like he was crazy. Should have gotten that on video!

MANY thanks to Phil and Nicole for letting us take over their home for the weekend and for basically making the "meeting of the great grandparents" possible!
