Carter was a fussy little man yesterday and wanted to be held constantly, so I didn't get around to updating. He is still doing very well, I am happy to report. He is now big enough to fit into his newborn size clothes which is so exciting for me because I have some of the cutest stuff that I have been dying to put him in! Sunday he wore the outfit we bought for him to go home from the hospital in - it was huge on him that day, but was just a little big on Sunday. He was of course as handsome as ever - I'm a bad mommy and didn't take any pictures! Sorry!
This morning, Carter experienced his first snow. Well, he didn't really experience it - he "looked" out the window and saw it. He wasn't nearly as excited as his daddy was! It's not really sticking though.
I can't believe that I only have 2 weeks left until I go back to work. I am NOT looking forward to going back at all. I know that he will be in good hands with his Mimi and Grandma, but I still would rather be the one to spend the day with him.
Your special surprise that I mentioned in the last post is going out in today's mail, so get excited!
