Well - Mr. Carter is still doing well. He is having some tummy and eye issues (gas and clogged tear duct), but we are making it through! He actually slept better last night than he has in a few days, so we were grateful for that.
I am happy to report that his umbilical cord stump fell off, so that is one less thing we have to take care of during the diaper changes. He will hopefully be making his first trip to church on Sunday, assuming tonight goes well. Pictures will be taken!
Our last doctor's appointment went well - his bilirubin is going down, so we don't have to take any more action as far as the jaundice goes. He has a 2 week checkup on Monday, so we are hoping he will be back to his birth weight (or at least gaining!) and even less yellow.
I am healing up nicely as well...actually fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans today!! I only have about 5 pounds to lose to get back to my normal weight, so hopefully that won't be too hard. I know, I'm silly to be thinking of that already, but I'm ready to have my body back!!
