5 weeks and a happy baby!

Corbin, Carter and I had a good weekend - we were a bit productive, but most of all spent time together and rested! This has been much needed as Corbin has been working long hours these past few weeks. We got a surprise in the mail yesterday - Carter's birth certificate!! I sent off for it a week or so ago and wasn't expecting it for a while since the paperwork said to expect it to take 12 weeks. I was super excited to get it for some reason (we also got his Social Security Card a couple of weeks ago as well). A not so exciting thing we got in the mail was the hospital bill - yuck! Y'all wouldn't believe how expensive it is to have a baby!!! But I must admit he is worth every penny.

And I am SO VERY HAPPY to announce that we caught Carter smiling yesterday on video. He was in a super smiley mood and was just grinning and "laughing" (he makes this funny sound that I SWEAR is him laughing - so cute) at his daddy. I must admit that I've probably watched this video about 3849 times and it never gets old. I love this little boy!! Hope it brings a smile to your face!




Corbin and I are convinced that he would win a cutest baby contest!
