Chunky Monkey

Okay, so Carter isn't exactly chunky, but he is definitely developing some cute little cheeks and a double chin!! I just noticed yesterday how full his little face was getting - so cute! I also forgot to mention that little man has dimples!! They are SOOOOO adorable. I will try to catch a smile on video/camera, but that is hard to do since the majority of his smiles come at about 4:00 a.m. and I'm not exactly up for a photo shoot at that time!

We gave Carter a bottle for the first time this week. At first, he took it like a champ and gulped down 1 ounce - then he just stopped and wanted nothing to do with it. We will try again today and see how he does! Daddy was super excited to get to feed his boy!(**This just in: While the video was uploading, Carter took another bottle and drank all his milk!!**)

Carter has also been tolerating his swing a lot better lately. Here is a little video we made for Corbin while he was at work. Please ignore my annoying "baby voice" :)




I went to the doctor yesterday due to a rash that showed up all over my body. Turns out that I had a virus (probably strep throat) and didn't even know it and because of the estrogen in my body, this nasty rash appeared. I would appreciate any prayers that it clears up quickly - it is hard having a newborn AND an itchy rash keeping me up at night!
